Ewen Welsh is a versatile artist based in Tasmania where he works in his studio with the help of Coolio the resident rabbit.
The Artistic Rabbit's Studio was launched in 2021 and specialises in portraits.
Most of Ewen's work is stripped back to just the model with no colour, background and very few smiley faces or clothes. He prefers to use real people of his choice so that the interesting faces and personalities shine through.
To counteract the starkness of his main work, Ewen enjoys doing the odd dog portrait and rabbit paintings.
Ewen will consider commissions.
